We design and curate multi-actor deliberate dialogue spaces that address complex challenges
What’s new: The Communities for Action 2025
In the lead up to the launch of the 2025 EAT-Lancet Commission and the return of the Stockholm Food Forum (October 3-4), EAT — working with Convene and in collaboration with global partners — has mobilised ten Communities for Action (CfAs). Each Community represents a distinct stakeholder group within the global food system and brings together frontline actors from around the world.
Who we are?
We are a purpose-driven community of conveners, facilitators, sensemakers and communicators, committed to mobilise our diverse expertise, passion and empathy to unlock the potential of deliberate dialogue for systems change.
What do we believe in?
The tendency today is to remain trapped in conversations restricted to quickly agreed-on consensus. The limited ability of actors to drive positive change lies in a siloed culture, conflicting interests and entrenched biases.
We believe that deliberate dialogue is a key pathway to unlock real world solutions where collective intelligence is pooled and connections made.
Our story
Convene saw the light of day on a grassy sun bleached hill side as the fruit of a creative conversation between an unlikely if subversive blend of people, converging around a conviction for change.
Combining impatience and knowledge, empathy and experience, network and know-how, Convene’s radiating constellation is growing.
